It is cool!  I think I\u00e2\u20ac\u2122m gonna make people jealous, but I\u00e2\u20ac\u2122ve gotten some strange reactions.  Here\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s a cool picture of my new <a href=\"http:\/\/www.bscycle.co.jp\/root\/catalog\/brid08\/lineup\/BC-S.html\">Bridgestone \u00e3\u0192\u2013\u00e3\u0192\u00aa\u00e3\u0192\u0192\u00e3\u0192\u2030 bicycle<\/a>.  Lights, fenders, baskets \u00e2\u20ac\u00a6 isn\u00e2\u20ac\u2122t it cool?!?<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.triplefstudio.com\/yokoso\/images\/Bike.jpg\" alt=\"My cool \u00e3\u0192\u017e\u00e3\u0192\u017e\u00e3\u0192\u0081\u00e3\u0192\u00a3\u00e3\u0192\u00aa\" \/><\/p>\n<p>These bikes are ubiquitous.  Very convenient with a basket in the front.  I may order a rack for the back and really trick it out.  Seriously, some people just can\u00e2\u20ac\u2122t imagine why I actually want this bike.  It\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s no <a href=\"http:\/\/www.litespeed.com\/2003\/bikes\/classic.html\">Litespeed<\/a> but what the heck.  I\u00e2\u20ac\u2122m looking forward to rolling around the neighborhood and checking it out.<\/p>\n<p>The bikes are called \u00e3\u0192\u017e\u00e3\u0192\u017e\u00e3\u0192\u0081\u00e3\u0192\u00a3\u00e3\u0192\u00aa (mamachari) because it is typical of a Japanese mother to ride \u00e2\u20ac\u201c a mother\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s chariot.  The ads are geared towards women.  But as I said, they are ubiquitous.  It is my way of living the high school student life I never had in Japan!<\/p>\n<p>I got the bike at \u00e3\u201a\u00ba\u00e3\u0192\u017d\u00e3\u201a\u00a6\u00e3\u20ac\u20ac\u00e3\u0192\u0081\u00e3\u0192\u00a5\u00e3\u0192\u00bc\u00e3\u0192\u2013 (Zunow Tube) where I\u00e2\u20ac\u2122ve already started to develop that personalized service that will pay off in the end.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Today I got home at a decent time (well, not too late) and was able to walk to the semi-local bicycle store and order my new bicycle.
