Spring is trying to arrive.  We\u00e2\u20ac\u2122ve had some really nice days lately and today was no different.  The temperature was not cold, the sky was clear, and the trees and flowers are JUST beginning to show their colors.  In the next two weeks the cherry blossoms should explode.  However, during the week the lows are going to hover just above freezing, so I worry a little.<\/p>\n<p>Tomorrow it is supposed to rain, so I really wanted to make sure I got out for a nice stroll in the sunlight.  I brought along my camera to record the rebirth.  I walked from my place to Nagoya castle and back. This sign says \u00e3\u0081\u2022\u00e3\u0081\u008f\u00e3\u201a\u2030\u00e3\u0081\u00be\u00e3\u0081\u00a4\u00e3\u201a\u0160 or Sakura festival.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/www.triplefstudio.com\/yokoso\/images\/haru2009_5.jpg\" alt=\"Sakura festival lighting\" \/><\/p>\n<p>\u00c2\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>A few trees were in full bloom.  Although this looks like a cherry tree, it is actually a plum tree.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/www.triplefstudio.com\/yokoso\/images\/haru2009_6.jpg\" alt=\"Plume tree in full bloom\" \/><\/p>\n<p>\u00c2\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>I\u00e2\u20ac\u2122m looking forward to the Spring.  Although I will be busy, it will be nothing like last year.  I don\u00e2\u20ac\u2122t even remember anything about last Spring other than \u00e2\u20ac\u0153Oh my God, what have I gotten myself in to?!?\u00e2\u20ac\u009d<\/p>\n<p>I am still challenged by work, but I feel more at home here in Nagoya and I feel fortunate still to be here.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>This can be a really nice time of year.
