Travels, Post ISU - 6 September through 11 September 2003
I had to take some time between school and being back in LA. So I went to Paris to hang out with Ken for one night and then picked up Jo and Tim and headed west to Brittany and Normandy. The weather could have been better, but the trip was really good.
These pictures are a little bigger than the ISU ones, so close your little pop-up window once before looking at these pictures. That will allow the new window to pop up the correct size. Thanks!
Paris - 6 September
So before the road trip, I went to Paris to hang out with Ken. Dawn met us at Sacre-Coeur.

I went on a road trip with Jo and Tim. These are just some of the pictures from the trip. I thought I break them down into people pictures and scenery pictures.
Road Trip Portraits - 7 September - 11 September
I went on a road trip with Jo and Tim. For the most part, these pictures are by me, but Jo shot a few as well.
Jo in Fecamp, France, 10 September 2003. Posted 25 September 2003. This picture gives you a great idea of the lovely weather we were having. Yes, those are white cliffs in the background.
Jo on the Cliffs, Etretat, France, 10 September 2003. Posted 25 September 2003. Finally the weather cleared a little in a beautiful little town. We had planned to hike most the day BUT we didn't because of the weather.
Jo in the Wind, Etretat, France, 10 September 2003. Posted 25 September 2003. It was really windy. When we arrived there were a bunch of nuns up here, habits all messed up. I just couldn't snap a picture but Jo did.
Road Trip Scenes - 7 September - 11 September
I went on a road trip with Jo and Tim. For the most part, these pictures are by me, but Jo shot a few as well.
Breakwater, St. Malo, France, 8 September 2003. Posted 25 September 2003. I think these posts are designed to break up the surf a little before it hits the retaining wall by the street we are walking on!
Mont Saint Michel - 8 September Mont Saint Michel, 8 September 2003. Posted 25 September 2003. I've always wanted to go. This is the view from the causeway opposite the car park.
Arromanches, Normandy - 9 September World War II Floating Port Remnants, 9 September 2003. Posted 25 September 2003. We stopped at a few of the D-Day beaches on our trip from Brittany to Dieppe, Normandy (don't ask why we went to Dieppe ... we're not sure). In Arromanches, the British created Port Winston, a temporary port brought from the UK.
Port, Fecamp, France, 10 September 2003. Posted 25 September 2003. The breakwater didn't really seem to do much ... the surge was pretty amazing coming into the port area.
